FFI Tasmania – Hydrogen Plant Concept Design

Fortescue Future Industries is part of the FMG Group assigned RASP to develop a concept design for the stakeholders at Bell Bay in Tasmania.
The concept design is based upon a preliminary layout provided by the client as well as the overall location of the facilities.
The Design Concept was to look at the visual impact of size of the plant, Views for local land owners and potential noise issues

Rio Tinto Parraburdoo – Drafting

RASP were engaged by Aurecon/ Rio Tinto to complete a full lidar scan of the existing pipework for replacement which have deteriorated over the years, the existing location which complies to RTIO current specifications.

The works were completed with a full set of fabrication drawings which Client to send to its subcontractor for fabrication.

Works were to RTIO Specifications and a full Bill of Materials were provided.

Rio Tinto – Parrabardoo Chute Design

RASP were engaged by Aurecon/ Rio Tinto to complete a full lidar scan of the existing chutes which have deteriorated over the years.

BHP – Area C Structural Steel Platform Design

RASP were engaged by Monadelphous to complete a full lidar scan of the Platform in order to design a new platform in the existing location which complies to BHP current specifications.

The works were completed with a full set of fabrication drawings which Monadelphous sent to their fabricator.

Works were to BHP Specifications and a full Bill of Materials were provided.

FMG Tank Lidar & Modelling

FMG at Christmas Creek had an issue with a worn tank and requested RASP to review the Tanks condition and provide a full 3D model of the tank and ongoing reviews relating to the wear condition of the scraper.

On completion of the works RASP provide new engineered detailed design of the vessell along with detailed wear patterns.

Works were to ensure all safety guarding and signage is to meet FMG Specifications or Australian Standards.

BHP Port – Guarding & Rail Engineering Design

BHP Port has conducted a review at its Port Facilities and requested RASP to review the Car Dumper locations and adjacent Rail corridors for Safety Interaction between the Port and Rail Divisions. On completion of the audit RASP is to provide new engineered detailed design and full costings into complete work packages for the contractor to complete the removal of old works and installation of new safety equipment. Works were to ensure all safety guarding and signage is to meet BHP Specifications or Australian Standards.
